Composition
- Metformin HCl 500mg + Voglibose 0.2 mg + Glimepiride 2 mg TAB
Mode of Action
Glimepiride+Metformin+Voglibose is a combination of three medicines:
Glimepiride, Metformin and Voglibose. This medicine is used in the treatment of
type 2 diabetes mellitus (DM). It improves the blood glucose levels in adults when
taken along with proper diet and regular exercise.
Benefits
Glimepiride lowers the blood glucose levels by increasing the release of insulin
from the pancreas. Metformin works by lowering the glucose production in the
liver and improving insulin sensitivity. Voglibose is an alpha-glucosidase inhibitor
which lowers the postprandial (after meals) glucose levels in the body.
Usage
As directed by your doctor.
Along with proper diet and exercise.
DARTMET VG2 tablets are to be taken with or without food.
Precautions
Alcohol
It is unsafe to consume alcohol with DARTMET VG2 Tablet.
Pregnancy
Make sure your doctor knows if you are pregnant or planning to become pregnant.
Medicine
Do not take other medicines unless they have been discussed with your doctor.
Liver & Kidney
Should be used with caution in patients with liver & kidney disease.
