Nitroglycerin is a nitrate used to treat Angina (heart related chest pain). Angina is a type of chest pain occurs when the blood flow to the heart is reduced or heart muscles is not getting enough blood to perform functions because of the narrowing of the blood vessels of heart. NGT-CARE 2.6/6.4 tablets works by relaxing the muscles and blood vessels (vasodilatation) of the heart so that blood can flow more easily to the heart, which results in; decrease in the demand of oxygen of the heart and reduces its workload, thus preventing the attacks of angina (chest pain).

Proper supply of blood to the heart muscles is necessary for the functioning of the heart. Reduced blood supply increase the demand of oxygen and heart workload which ultimately leads to cardiovascular disease.
