Mode of Action
VONEURO tablets is a combination of two drugs namely Piracetam or Citicoline that are used to treat brain disorders such as stroke, trauma, seizers Alzheimer’s, Parkinson's disease etc.
Piracetam: Piracetam is a cyclic analogue of GABA (gamma amino butyric acid) a chemical messenger that helps to slow down activity in your nervous system. It protects brain and nervous system against shortness of oxygen & boost brain functions. It may also enhance learning & protect brain from seizures.
Citicoline: is a nerve protecting medicine. It is used in the treatment of ischemic stroke. It works on brain & improves memory and behavior of the patient with dementia and reduces damage to the brain after traumatic brain injury or stroke by protecting the nerve cells from further damage.
