Composition
- Gabapentin 400mg+ Nortriptyline 10mg TAB
Mode of Action
ATAXIA-G400 tablets are a combination of two drugs namely Gabapentin or Nortriptyline used in the treatment of neuralgic pain.
Gabapentin: Gabapentin is a ligand of α2δ calcium channel subunit. It works by interfering with the regulatory function of α2δ and its interactions with other proteins. It modifies the calcium channel activity of nerve cells and reduces the neuropathic pain caused by diabetic neuropathy, post-herpetic neuropathy, post-surgical neuropathy or may be due to certain drugs.
Nortriptyline: Belongs to the group of medicines called antidepressants that can also be used to treat depression or neuropathic pain caused by diabetic neuropathy, post-herpetic neuropathy, post-surgical neuropathy or may be due to certain drugs.

Usage
As directed by your doctor.
Along with proper diet and exercise.
ATAXIA-G400 tablets are to be taken with or without food.
Precautions
Alcohol
It is unsafe to consume alcohol with ATAXIA-G400 tablets; it may cause serious damage to your kidneys, lungs, heart, and blood vessels.
Pregnancy
Make sure your doctor knows if you are pregnant or planning to become pregnant.
Medicine
Do not take other medicines unless they have been discussed with your doctor.
Liver & Kidney
Should be used with caution in patients with liver & kidney disease.
