Mode of Action
ADDCEF-200 tablets are a broad-spectrum antibiotic belongs to a class of drug cephalosporin, active against a wide variety of bacteria (gram-positive or gram-negative bacteria). It is used to treat variety of bacterial infections such as bronchitis, pharyngitis, pneumonia, typhoid fever, pre & post-surgical infections, gonorrhea, urinary tract infection etc.
ADDCEF-200 tablets works by stopping the growth of bacteria by binding to specific penicillin-binding proteins (PBPs) located inside the bacterial cell wall, causing the inhibition of last stage of bacterial cell wall synthesis & thus stopping the bacteria cell growth.
