Composition
- Dapagliflozin 5mg + Vildagliptin 100mg TAB
- Dapagliflozin 10mg + Vildagliptin 100mg TAB
Mode of Action
Dapagliflozin + Vildagliptin is a combination of two antidiabetic medications. Dapagliflozin
increases urinary glucose excretion and reduces blood glucose levels. Vildagliptin reduces the
amount of glucose produced by the liver, by raising insulin levels and decreasing the levels of
the glucagon (the hormone that increases blood glucose level).
Benefits
Dapagliflozin works in the kidneys to prevent absorption of glucose (blood sugar). This helps
lower the blood sugar level. Metformin reduces the absorption of sugar from the stomach,
reduces the release of stored sugar from the liver, and helps your body use sugar better.
Usage
As directed by your doctor.
Along with proper diet and exercise.
DARTDAPA-V tablets are to be taken with or without food.
Precautions
Alcohol
It is unsafe to consume alcohol with DARTDAPA-V Tablet.
Pregnancy
Make sure your doctor knows if you are pregnant or planning to become pregnant.
Medicine
Do not take other medicines unless they have been discussed with your doctor.
Liver & Kidney
