Mode of Action

Cefixime
A broad-spectrum antibiotic belongs to a class of drug cephalosporin, active against a wide variety of bacteria (gram-positive or gram-negative bacteria). It is used to treat variety of bacterial infections such as bronchitis, pharyngitis, pneumonia, typhoid fever, pre & post-surgical infections, gonorrhea, urinary tract infection etc. -
Clavulanate
Clavulanic acid works by enhancing the activity of cefixime against bacteria and decreases bacterial resistance.

Precautions
Alcohol
