Ursodeoxycholic Acid
Ursodeoxycholic acid (UDCA) is a secondary bile acid with cytoprotectant, immunomodulating, and choleretic effects. It reduces the cholesterol fraction of biliary lipids. UDCA inhibits the absorption of cholesterol in the intestine and the secretion of cholesterol into bile, decreasing biliary cholesterol saturation. UDCA increases bile acid flow and promotes the secretion of bile acids.

ADDURSO is used in the management of cholestatic liver disease and related conditions.

It is unsafe to consume alcohol with Addurso Tablets. it may cause serious damage to your kidneys, lungs, heart, and blood vessels.

Make sure your doctor knows if you are pregnant or planning to become pregnant.

Do not take other medicines unless they have been discussed with your doctor.

Should be used with caution in patients with liver & kidney disease.
