Mode of Action

Escitalopram
Belongs to a class of drugs called as selective serotonin reuptake inhibitor. It is used to treat major depressive disorder or generalized anxiety disorder. It works by inhibiting the reuptake into neurons or restoring the balance of serotonin (natural substance) in the brain. -
Clonazepam
Belongs to a class of drug known as Benzodiazepines, also known as anticonvulsant or antiepileptic drug. It is used to treat panic attacks as well as certain types of seizure disorders. It acts on the brain and nerves & increases the effects of a brain chemical GABA (gamma-amino butyric acid) to produce a calming & relaxing effect.
Benefits & Usage
SATPAM-PLUS have an additive effect. Escitalopram inhibit the reabsorption of serotonin by neurons or Clonazepam increases the effects of GABA for producing calming & relaxing effect. It can also reduce feelings of restlessness, tiredness or may improve your energy level and decrease nervousness.

Alcohol
It is unsafe to consume alcohol with SATPAM & SATPAM PLUS tablets; it may cause serious damage to your kidneys, lungs, heart, and blood vessels.
