Piperacillin & Tazobactam
Piperacillin is a semisynthetic penicillin that, when combined with a β-lactamase inhibitor like tazobactam, exhibits antimicrobial activity against a wide range of gram-positive and gram-negative bacteria, including some difficult-to-treat strains like Pseudomonas aeruginosa and Klebsiella pneumoniae. Piperacillin works by preventing the formation of the bacterial protective covering which is essential for the survival of bacteria. Tazobactum reduces the bacterial resistance and enhances the activity of Piperacillin against bacteria.

EOUS TZ injection is used to treat pneumonia and skin, gynecological, and abdominal (stomach area) infections caused by bacteria.

It is unsafe to consume alcohol with EOUS TZ injection; it may cause serious damage to your kidneys, lungs, heart, and blood vessels.

Make sure your doctor knows if you are pregnant or planning to become pregnant.

Do not take other medicines unless they have been discussed with your doctor.

Should be used with caution in patients with liver & kidney disease
